SEeHealth: The Roadmap from Concept to Practice
The seminar, which will host a number of respected speakers, among them representatives of the European Commission (Directorate General for Information Society and Media, ICT for Health Unit); the Minister of Public Administration, Government of Slovenia, Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, representative of Ministry of Health, Government of Slovakia; representative of Danish regions (both countries identified by the European Union as being successful cases of eHealth implementation); representatives of South East European countries (Montenegro, Romania, Serbia), which will present the regional good practice cases and a number of speakers from the private sector who will present the latest cases of ICT solutions in the field of eHealth.

The seminar is co-organized by the Centre for eGovernance Development for South East Europe (CeGD) and the Regional Cooperation Council (RCC).
The first seminar of the eGovernance Academy 2010 series will be dedicated to the contemporary issues of implementing eHealth in European countries, including the EU Member States and countries of South East Europe and is entitled SEeHealth: The Roadmap from Concept to Practice.
The two day seminar will focus on presenting the cost-effectiveness of eHealth systems, legal regulations and policy environment necessary to successfully implement eHealth solutions, and to showcase European and regional state of the art solutions and good practice cases.
Several prominent speakers are planned for the event, including representatives of the European Commission, representatives of the Government of Slovenia and representatives of international and regional ICT solution providers. The seminar will also host speakers, who will deliver presentations on cases from countries with well developed eHealth systems, such as Denmark, Slovakia and Austria.The objective of the seminar is to provide the participants with the knowledge, cases and solutions, which may be of assistance to their countries and organisations in creating modern ICT supported health care, which will be able to tackle the prevailing demographic, economic and social issues burdening all health care systems in Europe. The seminar will be free of charge, but be advised to register early as seating is limited. Use the participation form attached bellow.
