[Event, 2008] Symposium "Enabling better care through sustainable satellite-based Telemedicine Solutions"
EHTEL is pleased to report on event in 2008 that has been particularly interesting for all health professionals. It was held in Cannes (FR) on 5th March 2008 under the title: "Enabling better care through sustainable satellite-based Telemedicine Solutions". The particular interest of this symposium was that it offered live demonstrations of telemedicine applications during which Health Professionals from France, Cyprus and Poland discuss by videoconference concrete patient conditions.

Sustainable Telemedicine - Introduction
The task force was first mentioned and initiated at the Annual General Meeting October 2006 in order to support the implementation of "Sustainable Telemedicine" services.
