SUMMARY:Global Observatory on LongTermCare
DESCRIPTION: \n\nDigital maturity is a term used to describe the ability of an organisation to leverage data to adapt and succeed in an increasingly digital environment. In health or aged care, digital maturity is how extensively the digital environment and data is used to improve health care services, staff and consumer outcomes.\nThe aged care workforce is increasingly exposed to multiple digital tools with the expectation of immediate uptake to improve quality of care. However, little support is afforded to the aged care workforce to understand how digital tools can facilitate quality of care compounded by competing interest of legislation, financial constraints, accreditation and high acuity needs of care recipients. In this webinar you will be taken on a journey through the different stages of digital maturity and how best to leverage tools to your advantage.\nThis webinar will cover:\n\nIntroduction to the Global Observatory of Long-Term Care and welcome (Adelina Comas-Herrera, Care Policy and Evaluation Centre (CPEC), LSE)\nIntroduction to the GOLTC Workforce capacity and Capability Interest Group (Rebecca Bilton, ARIIA, Australia)\nDigital maturity in Australian Aged Care: Insights from the ARIIA Flagship Program (Jodie Hillen, ARIIA, Australia)\nAssessing Digital Maturity for Integrated Long-Term Care: The Laurel DMAT (Sara Canella and Rachelle Kaye, EHTEL, EU)\nKinnexus: standardising data to support digital transformation of aged care in Australia (Meagan Snewin)\nDiscussion\n
