AI in Healthcare and Radiology (AIR) is taking place in Budapest on November 5β6, 2026. This initiative is dedicated to the real-world adoption of AI in clinical workflows, with a particular focus on radiology. It will bring together healthcare leaders, and digital health stakeholders as well as radiologists from across Europe and beyond.
As AI rapidly moves from experimentation toward clinical implementation, professional societies have an important role in shaping how these technologies are adopted safely, effectively, and responsibly. AIR aims to provide a practical platform for this conversation. It will focus on how AI is actually being implemented in clinical practice, not only on what AI can do. Topics to be covered including workflow integration, clinical value, implementation challenges, regulation, and the changing role of healthcare professionals in an AI-enabled environment.
During its two days, the programme will connect radiology, technology and medicine through expert lectures, workshops and open discussions. The full programme can be accessed here.
