Today’s future is one of continuous change. New EHTEL member, Gruppo GPI, has developed a composable, modular system – POHEMA – that is highly flexible and is able to help with many sorts of remote care.
Based in Trento in northern Italy, Gruppo GPI is a new 2021 EHTEL member. The group focuses on virtual care and population health management. It operates in the health and care domain. It produces systems that are useful to hospitals, welfare and social services, and home assistance and rehabilitation services. The group is active in both Italian and European projects, and has been an active member of the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing and Active Assisted Living programme. Much of the group’s research focus is on integrated eco-systems, virtual model of a patient, clinical pathways for Parkinson and CHF, and risk stratification.
