Interested in getting your innovation procurement off the ground? The European Assistance for Innovation Procurement Initiative (EAFIP) offers expert assistance to people wanting to launch innovation procurement initiatives.
A call is open until 25 Sept 2021 that offers successful candidates expert assistance.
The application form takes 25-30 mins to complete. Two further calls will follow later in 2021-2022.
If successful, a candidate receives up to 5 days expert assistance free of charge.
Of the 21 prospective procurers that already received assistance since 2015 or so, around five have been in the health and care fields. Today's focus of procurements are in fields like 'high impact ICT' (AI, big data, virtual reality) and national/digital ICT strategies.
Criteria for submission are available here.
We encourage people interested in this new, challenging area, to consult the EAFIP website.
