MedCom creates and certifies communication standards, ensuring their integration across the healthcare ecosystem to meet clinical needs.

In digital health, MedCom focuses on developing standards for health data exchange, transitioning to HL7® FHIR®, and upgrading the infrastructure for secure data sharing. It manages key national IT solutions like the Danish Health Data Network and the National Home Monitoring Database.
