Presentations will highlight the building blocks of a learning health and care system, like the importance of human and data connections, the integration of new processes, and the generation of new knowledge

 

▢️ [4] Looking forwards: towards an EHDS enabling infrastructure

This session will offer the possibility to reflect on the implications of the EHDS paradigm shift: the emergence of citizen-centric data ecosystems.

This session explores what lies ahead in terms of international action, organisational challenges, and growth in digital skills. It draws on a specific strategy, what countries/regions can learn from each other, and how to expand digital skills in the health and care fields.

In this session, we will explore one of the many challenges to installing AI in the landscape: the need to access and integrate a wide variety of quality data from areas such as biomarkers, genomics, images, wearables, and PREMs and PROMs.

This closing session will draw on the insights of experienced leaders from the European Commission, regional governments, and industry. They will do some "crystal ball gazing" and offer their thoughts about what the future holds in the world of digital health
