TIC Salut Social annual ICT Trends report shows the adoption level of ICT for all the healthcare organisations in Catalonia

Since 2007, TIC Salut Social has put together an annual ICT Trends report. The reports help to know the adoption level of ICT for all the healthcare organisations in Catalonia. They’re a yearly reference document for the health and social care sector. They contribute to offering a real vision of the ICT network for care entities.
The 2019 report reveals that:
- Catalonia is a pioneer in Europe with its level of use of digital medical imaging.
- 86% of centres say they are protected against cyber-attacks.
- 27% of centres use virtual reality in teaching, pain management, surgical interventions or the management of phobias.
- The Chief Information Officers of CatalanCenters are the real protagonists in terms of digital transformation.
The reports are launched at an annual event. The March 2019 event was followed by around 500 people.
