Policy directions: Potential European choices 2024-2029
“In a world of adversity and uncertainty, Europe must choose to stick together and dare to think and act big. To live up to the legacy of our past, to deliver for the present, and to prepare a stronger Union for the future.” (p5, Political Guidelines)
This message is a key part of the introduction to "Europe’s Choice”, an important document delivered by President Ursula von der Leyen on 18 July 2024 at the European Parliament in Strasbourg, France, when she was still a candidate for a second term to her mandate. Her candidature was, of course, successful.

The European Health Data Space: Beyond the Regulation
On 1 October 2024, Marc LANGE - EHTEL’s General Secretary was invited to give a talk on what’s happening regarding the European Health Data Space (EHDS) and what EHTEL is doing to assist the future implementation of the Regulation. The meeting was co-organised by the data working group of the European Children’s Hospitals Organisation (ECHO) in conjunction with the PHEMS project. The meeting was key for people working on or with children’s data, especially in hospitals.

COMFORTage encourages you to complete its market surveys
COMFORTage is a four-year project funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe Research and Innovation programme, aiming to utilize advanced research and digital technologies to tackle age-related diseases and disabilities. COMFORTage focuses on the prediction, monitoring, and offering of personalized recommendations for the prevention and relief of dementia and frailty.
